about me

My journey to design began scrapbooking with my mom as a little girl. I quickly learned that I loved a clean and sophisticated look, unlike my friends who filled their albums with an insane amount of stickers and glitter. This hobby led to becoming the high school yearbook editor and pursuing a degree in journalism. I later discovered that I wanted to work across all mediums of advertising and marketing and ultimately became a critical thinking, strategic designer.

A strong work ethic and self-starter mindset was instilled in me at a young age, and that combined with my natural ability to lead, organize, and bring ideas to life meant my idea of fun was creating ads for my girl scout cookie sales and running thoughtfully merchandised garage sales and as a kid. These activities led me to pioneering student-led initiatives in college. One example was founding the Disney College Program Association at the University of Missouri, an organization I created to foster community among alumni while mentoring applicants during the competitive acceptance process. I also led MIZ vs ALZ, the Mizzou AIGA chapter and Fellowship Bible Studies. Building relationships and giving back through volunteering, and investing in others has always been apart of who I am.

Over the course of my career, my natural skills and learned expertise continues to grow and has been shaped through building and evolving high-performing brands, multi-channel advertising campaigns and immersive guest experiences within fast-paced and high-pressure environments. My strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills combined with my love and passion for Jesus, coffee, learning new things, and keeping up with current industry trends, lead to cultivating collaborative teams and successful design solutions.
